    Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Central Petroleum Limited (“Company”) (ASX:CTP)
    requests a trading halt to its securities effective immediately, pending an
    announcement to be made by the Company regarding yet to be confirmed initial
    positive indications from the results of drilling the Mt Kitty well.
    The Company requests the trading halt be in place until the earlier of the
    commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 15 April 2014 or when the
    announcement is released to the market.
