A bank is not going to let you activate a facility until it is unencumbered. Today's dismissal of the STT appeal is a major step forward, but VMS must wait at least 21 days for appeal process to run its course until the asset can be truly considered unencumbered.
Also the board is not going to allow the executive to draw down on that facility anyway until the asset is unencumbered.
Once again, not Hamish' fault that the law allows STT and others to stymie the process.
Whilst we are on the subject, not much point having off-take talks until you are ready to mine, ie legally able.
It's taken this long, so what's another 21 days plus a few weeks to again slap Scotty and STT down for the last time.
Should be mining ore by mid year.
