With the Kimberlite exploration on hold until they get the update and with the weather drying out hopefully they can sort through a stack of alluvial gravel in the mean time to build up a back log of diamonds for sale.
Some of the gravels are coming in at 20 to 30 carats per hundred cubic meters. If they hit a good sample they could easily be putting 100 carats a day away.
A couple of weeks at that would be nice to have in the kitty to inject back into the kimberlite exploration.
I wouldn't mind all this waiting if you knew they were onto a sample like that!
My guess for Tuesday is that they sold the diamonds or are about to sell them for more than forecast hence the trading halt.
