The SYR Chairman has been quoted as saying that the Balama project is more like a Vanadium resource with a graphite by-product. People thought he was joking. SYR put their whole graphite feasibility planning on delay in order to do the Vanadium calculations. The major difference I can see between TON and SYR relates to depth of high grade resource. SYR high grade is near surface whilst the top stuff for TON is deeper. Regardless, TON is still on a winner in the graphite space; but SYR is so far in front that I can't find the word to describe it. I think georgedb is on the money in his comparison though.
