MW never stated that SRT would make an acquisition before Christmas.
He stated 'He would be disappointed if SRT didn't make an acquisition before Christmas'
He holds 100 million shares in SRT, I bet he is disappointed.

SRT's 'Potential Transaction with a Third Party' Announcement
This is an exclusivity agreement, not a deadline, which also has in the fine print 'or such other date'
In which IMO we will see an updated exclusivity date announced tomorrow
