But it will cost the company to get someone to underwrite so the total $ they will receive is < what they would have got if all converted. But it is a prudent thing to do if they thought that not everyone would convert their options.
Better to be safe I guess (which seems to be Dave's motto) - depending on what it has actually cost the company to do this deal
