I hate to say it (because we are seeing a country continue voting itself towards more authoritarian government - and when has that ever ended well?) but it is probably good for GSL in the short term. Not hard to imagine that a change in government could have affected the financing from Turkish entities that was recently announced, and or any additional grants from the Turkish government.

But I'm also not sure that Erdogan's energy policy is as sunny for us as RC often suggests. He used to say that Turkey has been turning towards renewables to establish energy independence from Russia. However what I see is a Turkish government building bridges with Russia through cooperation on nuclear energy generation in the country. Does this mean the Turks drop all interest in solar? Probably not. But it means Turkey is perhaps less of a renewables paradise than claimed.
