Reducing carbon emissions requires that World Governments make the hard decisions or in the not to distant future (Our lifetimes) or there will be irreversible consequences for our actions.
Look I would rather that Governments financed their scientists into Hydrogen energy from water rather than nuclear energy. BUT in the interim, what do we do?.
There is a possibility that in certain areas of the World. Alaska, Australia, USA Russia and more, eventually their drilling technology allows us to access deep thermal power on a big scale. Given that water expands 1400 times (from memory) its volume we have un-tapped energy under our feet. It’s happening now, and it’s clean.
But it’s too slow.
