The company will already know its position with regards to the lawsuit - You dont decide not to pay almost $1Mill US with out getting adequate legal advice.
I would consider the lawsuit to be not worthy of a trading halt.
IMO it is the results and suspect it may have to do more so with possible alternative extraction methods to boost better flow rates.
As discussed on the lawsuit thread (i believe the company can only win from here - worst case they pay - best case they will save dollars, receive cash or credit)
