This is the sort of constructive news long suffering investors have been waiting for. Expect a SP of mid twenties by late October. What's the possibility then of a spinoff to a suitable MacqBank fund with improved capitalisation it puts the business back to a position of allowing MB to leverage against it. Maybe there might be some interest from Eddie who may foucs back on Aus rather than the US with the cost of capital there and the sinking US economiy. Lets wait and see.
