The securities of Rocklands Richfield Ltd (the “Company”) will be placed in pre-open
pending the outcome of the meeting of security holders today to consider the proposed
acquisition of China Coke and Chemicals Limited.
If security holders do not approve the resolutions, the trading halt will be lifted when the
Company confirms that it will not change its activities.
If security holders approve the resolutions resulting in a change of activities, trading in
the securities will re-commence when the Company satisfies ASX that it meets the
requirements of chapters 1 and 2 of the Listing Rules.

TRADING HALT Announcement
The Directors of Rocklands Richfield Limited seek a trading halt to the company’s listed
securities.
Reason for trading halt: At a General Meeting of shareholders to be held at 2pm today,
Directors will put a number of resolutions to members seeking approval for the acquisition of all
issued shares capital in China Coke & Chemicals Limited, as laid out in the Notice of Meeting
dated 9th August 2007. The resolutions if approved will result in Chapter 11 of the ASX Listing
Rules being invoked and the company’s shares will be suspended from trading.
How long is trading halt to last: Until closure of the General Meeting being held today.
Event to end trading halt: The announcement to market of the results of the General Meeting
being held today.
Granting of trading halt: We are not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be
granted.
Other information: There is no other information that the Company can advise the market at this
time regarding the request for a trading halt.
