Yes, I meant more that I am surprised that it has not leaked to the media - there isn't even so much as a rumour.
If it is a TO offer (I'm not assuming anything yet), my money would on Nestle. They were the earliest major competitor to put out a competing IF, which was unsuccessful, and have since also embraced the language around health benefits etc. May be a case of, "if you can't beat them, buy them".
A Chinese bidder could also be possible, but there is already a high degree of integration with Chinese interests, and a question as to whether a complete takeover would be allowed by the Kiwi government.
