Actually the TNZ takeover is not that stupid. They know the share price would tank if they pull back. Now they make an offer at a premium to the new price. It may be them that is mopping up those who are running now !!!

I would not discount the fact that negotiations are still going on as far as the original deal.

PPR - he will still be holding, he actually got suspended from posting for something he said on another thread. You will notice he never posted anything much since then.

There is still a lot of upside for pie, This is a buy in opportunity.
