Re announcement and trading halt...
Unlikely to be a takeover - announcement wouldnt wait, and no counterparty trading halt. Not mgt buyout as they cant meet margin calls.
Unlikely to be accounting / profit related. Would have been disclosed by now or could wait until reporting date of Friday.
Sale of a division? - possible - the lending portfolio?
Placement of shares? - less than likely at current SP with uplifing result hopefully on its way.
My guess, they are probably going to flog off something. They are good at their core leasing business. Need to perform in their other arreas or get out. Look like a get out??????
