Indications are that the mining review will be far from draconian.
We can be confident that Bill Turner will make good use of the negotiation with Congo Government once the review has been carefully analysed.
Anvil has been a circumspect company and a good citizen leading the way into the Congo.
One would expect the company will receive a fair hearing and reasonable outcomes should be anticipated.
The market has reduced valuation of Anvil by 20% to allow for concerns about the mining review - according to Anvil personnel.
A 20% surge in share price (from about $14.20) might well take the share price close to $17.00.
Whitelight's comment makes sense to me!
