Pacific Renewable Energy (PRE) is seeking interest from investors interested in a developing biofuels company. PRE, whose backers include Australian Biodiesel Group's George and Stephanie Muirhead, is trying to develop the Pongomia Pinnata as a viable source of biodiesel production. The Pinnata plant is found in northern Australia and other tropical parts, can cope with high levels of salinity, and is quite drought-resistant.
