My guess is that the trading halt relates to some sort of an offer from Tiwest.

Tiwest recently announced that it planned to increase its TiO2 pigment plant capacity by a massive 50,000tpa. That will require 55,000tpa of natural or synthetic rutile.There is no way that quantity could be satisfied from natural rutile sources.Tiwest already operates an SR plant at Muchea ( near Cooljarloo). To meet the extra SR demand, Tiwest would need an extra 94,000tpa ilmenite which would stretch its existing mineral-in-ground resources.I cannot see IMA setting up an HM mining and treatment operation.My guess is that Tiwest will make an offer for selected IMA tenements.

But then I could be entirely wrong!
