I believe the GasTech coal is stranded and is only viable to coal to gas/liquids methods. Emerald coal is extreemly viable for direct mining.

Also with regards to director selling, I would hazard a guess that the linc management have been extreemly confident in lincs future, therefore they may have bought as many shares as they could afford. Now maybe strapped for cash like most people these days they needed to sell a few.
