    MELBOURNE (Dow Jones)--OneSteel Ltd. (OST.AU), Australia's second-largest steel

    maker, said Tuesday its shares are in trading halt pending an announcement about the

    company's financial outlook.

    The Sydney-based company asked for the trading halt until Thursday or until OneSteel

    requests that it be lifted, it said in a statement.
