bear in mind that Sedco revealed in their recent annual that at least 7 contracts had lapsed/been cancelled in the last 6 months or so.
Guess they'll just have to sue everyone.
Issue may be dealt with by "massaging" a rate for rig hire for future wells etc. Sedco still need to have their rigs contracted and the market hasn't improved that much yet.
