Anything's possible Austin, but not enough information out there to determine that. Seems as though target depths were fairly spot on though, so it would seem the well is where they intended, there's just no sand there which happens sometimes unfortunately. Doesn't completely write off the prospect if there are indeed indications of hydrocarbons, just means they'll have to do a bit more work on their mapping to see if they can figure out what went wrong.
