In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Cardinal requests that an immediate trading halt be placed on its securities pending the release of an announcement regarding the Company’s maiden resource estimate at the Namdini Project.
Cardinal expects the trading halt will be required for a period not exceeding the commencement of trading on the second day following the date of this request, in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1.1 and ASX Operating Rule 16.4.2, and that an announcement regarding the Company’s maiden resource estimate will likely be made before the commencement of normal trade on 4 November 2016.
Cardinal is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor of any other information relevant to this request.
