I remember last year I did couple of these types of trades but with 500/1000 quantities. I had a call from my broker telling me that such purchases considered as price manipulations and ASIC could ask questions from them. Apparently, this is OK and legal if a computerised buying/selling systems (commonly known as BOTS - Robots)do that. Perhaps, we can ask a question from [email protected] explaining why what they do is OK.
