@busybean sorry just to be a little clearer it would be my opinion that you would still need to do the transfer of shares form as that outlines the cgt event rather than declaration of trust. So
1) the transfer of shares form - this is signed agreement of sale between parries and what price. Unlisted gave me $1 as consideration but I paid $151 fee and they gave me $1 discount so I paid $150
2)the declaration of trust form. As asx don’t allow transfer at this stage but I have sold under 1) above I will hold shares in trust until a share transfer is allowed.
3) request for transfer to issuer sponsored form
This is a request to my broker (CommSec) to transfer the shares to delisted. I’m thinking that as I’ve sold in 1) but this can’t go through yet under asx rules I’m also doing 2) above until this 3) can proceed.
