"Recent price sensitive announcements and the share price has dropped!"
Now this is a statement, which I have come across in a number LTR threads on numerous occasions, but over time I also encountered it in other stocks over and over again.
IMCO this subject, even though certain chart patterns can be observed, isn't chart related, but is more a trading related issue, because there are quite powerful forces who use their influence to keep SP within certain price ranges (Trading Ranges) where they either (re)distribute or (re)accumulate a stock.
Why are they doing this?
Their reasoning IMCO is simple. They haven't accumulated or distributed enough of the stock at a certain price range and so they working hard to achieve their target over time. I have written about this problem in a number of posts in LTR related threads, but I thought I bring it all together here by posting the following:


It is up to every individual trader/investor to understand how the Composite Operator can and will influence the rise and fall of a stock price especially if it becomes clear that despite some positive announcements SP isn't reacting as we would expect, but is kept in a trading range. We easily put it down to what we like to call manipulation, but this simply is the Composite Operator's game and we the traders/investors need to learn how to read, adapt and possibly even take advantage to it, because it is simply part of today's game.
