I have shares in AVM, EQN and OEX which are listed overseas and I find after taking the ER into account the shares prices stay in sync over a 24 hour period. The value of a share is primarily determined by the asset value and from my observations over the years and particularly now with electronic trading, shareholders from country X will pay no more or less than shareholders in country Y.
As country risk is determined based on a 'world' assessment we all discount share prices by the same percentage.
Assuming the price of copper remains around current levels and Kapulo comes on line as planned, then MWE should hit my price target of $4 whether it is C$ or A$ will not materially matter.
