I think you need to ask yourself.... what is it exactly that you expect SN to do? It's a free market - by definition, it means everyone is free to buy, hold, sell or stay out. The fact that you are asking what he has brought to this company is a clear reflection of where your headspace is at.
Remind me again - how many years did the Scots have the rights to explore EP469 but couldn't sell their story to anyone? Who was it that saw the potential and agreed to throw money at it? How many years did Walyering and Ocean Hill lay dormant after their initial discovery wells? Who saw the potential in the UIL acreages that the market had only priced at 9mn before the STX bid?
The man is far from perfect but if you are going to question someone's competence, at least do it with some substance to back it up.
