I learnt something at school when I was doing debating:
Acknowledge your opponent's view ( this way you will come across a nice)
Then mention facts and then criticise your opponent.
You just could not help it to wait until the close of Dow tonight to find the answer to your queries.
Around 8am this morning for a brief period, the Dow future was in the green of 45 points in response to positive quarter result of Apple that was announced after the close of DOW. and closer to the open of ASX was nearly flat.
Then late morning and throughout, it reversed to the red and tonight it will be in the green,IMO, off course.
Lynas at the open was in the black---------------- similar to flat Dow future.
Lynas went in the red (awaiting Chinese GDP data)-------- Dow future was in the red (awaiting Chinese data, but also to cap the gains on our market.
Lynas closed in the green (in response to the Chinese data, and people who bought in response to the company news after the close, very thin reason)--------- IMO, the Dow will turn green tonight.
Right now, the future is only 8 in the red and later will be in the green, like lynas at the close.

As I was copying and pasting, it is now 10 in the green.
Market manipulation: Dow at 45 in the green for a brief period in the morning (first signal). Then in the red, awaiting the Chinese GDP which was positive as predicted by me (I mentioned MGX, yesterday put on 2.5c), contrary to the headlines about slowing in Chinese economy.
The chinese data was out later in the day, but the DOW was in the red around 71 points, why:
to cap the gains on ASX.
To give the impression that tonight will be a sell off.
Why I was not convinced:
In the half an hour of the trade on the DOW, there was massive buying from the insiders who new about the positive quarter Apple result which came after the close of the DOW.
Secondly, existing home sales figures will be out tonight and it may show a small gains (BLD is up).
The Chinese GDP beats market expectation with 7.3% more than analysts prediction of 7.2%. This good news has to be factored in tonight.
Because of the Chinese positive data, It will be one of the few occasions where Gold will rise as well as green DOW.

I have also mentioned in my previous post:
No,Lynas does not influence DOW future. All I am saying is the pattern of the trade in Lynas shares is influenced by what would happen on the DOW that night under normal circumstances (excluding manipulations and unexpected news).
Again, market manipulation:
MGX put on 2.5c yesterday. This company has major Chinese substantial holder. Someone will know about the positive Chinese data the following day.
So why after the release of the result, MGX was in the red today.
All the stocks in the resource sector are trading within a range and comparable to their peers. If MGX gained more yesterday, it will retreat the following day as money is moving from the stock into another iron ore stock to balance things up.
If market moves with fundamentals, MGX should be up.
