After being with them since 2009 I have just been advised my current broker is shutting shop in September.
Could I respectfully ask for opinions on alternate brokers. Without going into the nitty gritty I currently complete / have access to the following.
1) Straight trades and firing of conditional orders cost me $27 / trade.
2) I have live access to the market.
3) I currently have access to a trading 'overdraft' of $25k with this broker which has to be settled in 3 days. I don't actually use this, all trades are done with physical cash.
4) I just trade shares, not options or EFT's however I do like to look at them from time to time.
5) Generally doing around 5 trades a week. Simple strategy. Buy low. Sell high. Protect with stop loss.
