I have learnt a hell of a lot abot trade management in the last 18 months. Imo it is absolutely true about the relative importance of the entry versus the rest of the strategy (i.e. trade management). There are so many options available but the right trade management for any given setup/entry can literally turn an average performing entry (based on historical backtesting) into a really good one.
If I get the time I will summarise some of the options that can be employed, and I'll include some backtesting results to illustrate (the examples will be from FX, but they can be and I have equally applied them to equities as well).
