Excellent post Brenden. We are witnessing history unfold, with CCC becoming a mid-cap coal producer before our eyes. Apologies if I am just restating your words (below), but I'm very excited about this company, and plan to hold my shares long term.
Eventually we will see serious investors & funds get interested in CCC. They will be looking at the long-term returns (and don't they look awesome). The wild trading action of the last two weeks will probably continue for a while, but for those savvy investors, any sell-offs will be seen as an opportunity to accumulate. It is indeed a win-win situation for current holders, looking beyond the short term picture.
The massive upside for CCC is that Indian & Chinese demand for thermal coal is only getting stronger, and is largely independent of market activity in USA & Europe. Niall Ferguson said as much in his presentation to the Diggers & Dealers Conference today. http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/business/a/-/business/7686604/packed-house-at-diggers-to-hear-ferguson/
