I had chat with a person work in ubs the other day, he said institution traders can sell/buy shares among clients at agreed value in future date for brokerage as long as they can find source of supply and demand.
Also the cross trading also happens during inter company transactions. So the after auction time transactions are really irrelavant to retail holders.
