    Hi Al,

    Regarding this: "Its possible that they (Linc) may have some write downs re Alaska Drilling and the higher depletion rates on Barbers Hill."

    Umiat is currently only carried at cost ($61,567,000) so a write down is unlikely. Can't comment on Barbers really, except to say there's less oil this year then last, so it would make sense.
