Spearion, At the moment I'm only starting to learn algo trading I want something basic, where I can get automated signals yet make manual trades in both FX or equities. I want to be able to concentrate and implement my own strategies as well as seeing basic strategies through the program. At the moment I use CommSec and CG Markets as my current trading platforms for equities, both on the net and I currently use a mac for all my relevant tables/graphs.
michaelfranz, what is the main difference between a scanner and an algo?
