re: trading software / yolande Yolande - I'm not sure I'm familiar with the SAS system. I have written similar systems before but the biggest problem that I've experienced so far is getting the data feeds. Arguably my most extreme solution will be to see if I can arrange a dynamic connection through the ASX, but this is likely to be very costly(if they would even give me permission). Most Home PC's today could do the calculations in a few seconds at most on intraday data IMHO, but they need the figures to calculate first.
