Excel worksheets - and other file ypes - can be shared publicly.
IN EXCEL
open the document you want to share
Make a copy of it and name it accordingly. Do not use your original version. You'll be making privacy changes etc, that can't be undone
Remove any information that you do not want to share. Then use the next step to check what information you do and do not want to share
Go to FILE and select INFO, then CHECK FOR ISSUES, then INSPECT DOCUMENT
All the boxes are ticked that represent all the different types of data within the document. Uncheck any you do not want to remove. Generally, leave them all ticked. Note that the second box is for Document Properties and Personal Information. Make sure this is ticked.
At the bottom of the dialogue box, select INSPECT
The results will show all types of data within the file, including any personal information. You can then chose to remove what data you do not want to share. Remove personal data.
TO SHARE THE EXCEL SPREADSHEET
Chose SHARE from the top right side of Excel, and COPY link to post in Hotcopper to share to everybody, or alternatively, add individual email addresses.
