Trading Spreadsheets

Hi All,

I've tried to search through any trading spread sheet threads I could find, but can't find my question answered.

I am wondering how people manage line items on their P&L for say the following exmple;

action 1: buy 100k shares
action 2: sell 50k shares
action 3: buy 100k shares
action 4: sell 150k shares

As you can see, there is no clean buy / sell on one line item for the same value, and the sell of the final 150k shares will have an average buy in price to calculate the P&L against.

Do you split it into two line items or just calculate the P&L based on the average buy in?

If anybody could providee any templates that accomodate this style of trading it would be greatly appreciated
