My guess is the drilling results are so significant they want confirmation from the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development that everything is hunky dory with regard to their license.
It may also be that they need more time to prepare the announcement that was supposed to be released this morning and this delay buys them the weekend and Monday to ensure that everything is in order.
