thats a tall statement re "Trading/mechanical systems don't work with Forex" ... many quant guys around the world wouldnt agree ... can you please let us know why you said that?
I do agree with you about throwing out conventional indicators ... but the rest of your post is highly subjective. EG your comment on drawdown is totally dependent on your system, if your system doesn't allow drawdown then it won't happen.
