The large S/L can hurt, it's great for negotiating the small stop hunt spikes on reversal but on a steady grind away from entry, it's usually best to cut and run (if you happen to be watching).
As far as the entries goes, it depends on the indicator used....for example the one that lags by 20 bars odd, has a better percentage but usually lower winning range.
The only extra conditions that I have so far are;

- keep away from trading against strongly trending pairs
- don't enter too early in the daily cycle
- don't automatically trust the process, check HTF's and possible resistance.

I, personally am happy to trade live on this BUT it is definitely NOT a directive or financial advice.

I have been demoing Steve's EA and playing with settings for a while.

I have also been concerned about the large SL to TP ratio. Crudely speaking - 1.8 ADR SL to 0.4 ADR TP - you would need an 82% win rate just to break even if you are letting positions run to SL / TP.

With all of the recent large ADR movements and waterfalls, there is no way that the EA is getting close to that.

I definitely believe there needs to be more discretion involved at the moment.

I take note of your additional rules Cyclone and shall be spending this week manually trading with it and perhaps will look into the new Heiken Ashi model.

@RickM are you rolling your eyes at the new HA addition?
