Hi Mike - is your grid another FF model? If so would you mind sharing the thread title, I would be interested to read into forums relating grids right now. Like Sharks and yourself it is 'flavor of the month' for me.
Sharks has shared his bias entry on consolidation with 'short term' profit target, seems to be working very well for him. I'm still head in the clouds chasing the holy grail however, quite intrigued by your bias - what are you looking at for that?
The obvious Achilles heel is the breakout turn trend - and how you manage those positions that get 'stuck' with no chance of closing - do we try to focus on never entering those positions in the first place (bias), or do we focus on closing them out before they do too much damage, in which case when (trade management)? Or is there another third option - I don't know, I have lots of ideas but haven't had a lot of time to test yet (have been using that excuse a lot lately...).
