Hi Mike, the EA executes those take profit closures at bar close, not on tick, and I run the EA on the M5 timeframe. I experimented with it on tick thinkin that would be better, but I found that on average it seemed to have better results if the positions are closed on bar - probably because it times like this evening the price will move or spike and then close at more than my targeted 7 points. Also, I it will only close 1 position per bar, so if there are 2 positions which are affected by a quick 7 point move, it will close one first and then the next one at the close of the next M5 bar. Again, I would have thought it would be beter on tick, but that doesn't seem to be the case, I did several tests and it was consistently better on bar close (not by a lot, but enough so I stayed with bar close).

Only the last closure when the gross profit target is hit will it close all remaining positions at the same time.

    Cheers, Sharks
