My daily update is as follows. A bit more activity in the last 24 hours with 4 runs closed (AUDCHF, AUDSGD, EURJPY and USDJPY), all 4 in profit (incl USDJPY despite being -$100 in unrealised loss for a while) with the results summarised in the table below, and run charts below that:
Of the 4 runs above that were closed, the USDJPY screenshot provides an excellent example of what happens when the market price moves outside (above in this case) the original grid range, no trades are being taken in this zone so its simply a matter of wait & see whether it retraces back into the grid's range, or continues further away, in which case some stoplosses would start to get triggered, allowing new trades to open.
The net positions of the remaining 9 runs still open have again increased (to the negative) in the last 24 hours, even though the unrealised losses have remained steady, due to 4 runs being closed (total profit of $89.13). There's been quite a bit of movement in some of these markets, so I keep expecting a blow-out loss to occur, but it hasn't happened yet (fingers crossed).
Today I like 3 markets for ranging conditions in the upcoming days - the AUDCHF I will re-start after just closing, but also the AUDJPY and EURSGD:
