I went fulltime as a forex / gold trader about 5 years ago BUT i have a secondary income from a family contracting business we run from home. This allows me to trade stress free without worrying about paying the Mortgage. I do not know how anyone could trade for a living solely on their trade profits. This year our business picked up a few contracts which required me to spend some time on the tools, less time trading.
I hope to pull those hours back middle of next year.
