Bad luck, bad timing perhaps but it showed it didn't work.

I now trade it with a max of 5 trades. When a grind pushes a pair passed a certain point, I close the two oldest trades but let the EA trade against the trend in even bigger size. In back testing, this showed up with the best results without blowing my account.

More research on depth/legs of Black swans vs bank/margin.....on given pairs compared to majors.
