Un update for you on some recent completed demo runs (with my un-biased semi-auto grid EA), one that ended up in a loss (NZDCAD), and two that ended up in profit (EURAUD & GBPCAD):
You can see the loss on the NZDCAD was not too much damage, but caught on a strong move day which didn't recover before the gross profit target was hit. The other two performed pretty much how a nice ranging market would work with this EA.
I'm pretty happy that the EA is functioning properly according to how I designed it (i.e. no bugs), so now its just a matter of continuing to collect data in demo mode. My biggest risk to achieving good consistent profitable runs is getting my entry timing signal consistently each time I drop it onto a market, so that's really the purpose of my demo testing period, is to see if I can pick that timing consistently enough over an extended period to make money. If I can, then I will go live.
