I don't think that it is possible to trade the HUI as an index. You need to have a stock code for it like the QQQ's (Nasdaq) to be able to do it easily. I tried to trade the HUI last night but could only do it on a stock by stock basis. The other option was to have a 'basket' of the HUI components and trade that basket all at once (my software allows that). I did this once and the trade went bad so I covered and left it as experience. In the end I just traded NEM (large component of the HUI) all night and was happy with the profit.
