Hi frankj,
I am an absolute newbie when it comes to valuing stocks, however I wanted to share a screenshot of a basic spreadsheet that I have developed to assess the potential value of the US sales of fonda (refer image below).
I have plenty of iterations of the document, and the value of fonda is sensitive to most of the parameters in the spreadsheet.
On the calculations shown in that sheet, it is anticipated that fonda revenues could range between $19M to $28M. This is dependent upon factors such as cost of goods, market size, market share, potential price decreases due to generic competition (unlikely in the short-term).
I'm generally a silent observer on HotCopper, and I am sure there are plenty of much more-skilled analysts than myself! I have no doubt missed many integral components of a biotech analysis, let me know if you have any comments for improvement :)
Thanks,
JJR
