Sorry, I but still do not understand the reasons why you guys argue.

Sure, DRC is a place of many conflicts and does not looks like it will be solved soon.

However, if we are talking facts it need to be noted that Guyana is also under fear of conflict with Venezuela which is claiming part of Guyana as their area.

This conflict will most likely go in 2018 to ICJ, but there are not guarantees of peaceful solution if decision goes toward Guyana.

My research and information obtained tells me that DRC and Guyana are countries where success of business is based on not what you know but who you know.

Both countries have history of corruption within Government circles and investing in one or the other is nothing more than decision whether or not we are prepared to take the risk.

I found surprising that no one is mentioning GPP report in which the risk factor is outlined.


As for myself, I view both countries as a risk with one well publicised the other not.

But this my opinion only as I do my own research and read HC to gain additional info on OHD which is very interesting.
