Just watched an interview on Sky news with infrastructure minister Darren Chester who was speaking about the closer of Hazelwood power station tomorrow. When pressed about the future use of the abundant Victorian brown coal in the Latrobe Valley he replied that they have been in talks with industry to utilise the coal for fertiliser and bio fuel in the future. The plot thickens.
